Today is the VERNAL EQUINOX, meaning the first day of spring and (finally) 12 hours of light. Please write a response in the blog about the VERNAL EQUINOX. You can talk about it scientifically, write a poem, ect.

ReplyDeleteIt will start getting warmer and summer is closer! The only thing I don't like is that it makes me more tired with the hours. I like when it is sunny and not too hot but not too cold outside and you can just go outside and do whatever you want to do.

ReplyDeleteToday is the first day of Spring. The vernal equinox is 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. Starting today the daylight hours will be longer than darkness hours. Since the sun will be out longer, than it will be getting a lot warmer.

ReplyDeleteThere is no more cold days and having to put a lot of clothes on, you don't have to worry about hot hot days. It's just perfect weather to be peaceful and to be able to do more stuff outside with your family.

ReplyDeleteLast spring i just enjoyed the sunshine coming out and the weather staying outside a lot , watched easter lily flowers come out and actually went swimming last spring. And the best is go down to louisville and see my dads side of the family and went skating it was really fun. Now this spring i'm excited for break and to make goals for myself high expectations.
ReplyDeleteVernal Equinox a good time for outdoor movement, at least I'm able to be outside instead of being inside all day. The main thing is to stay up longer, going fishing longer, YEAH!!!
ReplyDeleteSpring is one of my favorite seasons because this is the season when soccer starts. Also, it is awesome that you get more sunlight and more night time. This is good for me because I am always outside during the spring because it is a good day and it is mostly hot. I love spring, so thanks gosh it is spring time!

ReplyDeleteSince, today is the first day of spring then it means it will start to get warmer! When it starts to get warmer, it means that it is closer to Summer! I am glad this is happening because I love summer! Summer is my favorite season. Now, that it is Spring I can finally work on my car! Once I get my car running then I get to take my permit test with it. Warmer weather makes me happy so when it gets closer to summer I get excited! Spring is a time for Easter and warmer weather so let's enjoy it! Be happy Summer is getting closer!
ReplyDeleteThis means that it might start getting warmer and the days will get longer and i will be doing more outside and ride my horse and the fourwheeler.It's always fun when it starts to warm up because me and my dad start to do more together and he isn't sick like he always is in winter.And my family always does something fun when it warms up.I like warm weather more than cold weather.

Deletethe weather should start to get a little warmer in the spring but since the weather has been rather crazy here lately there is no telling how the weather will be snow could come at any possible time because our weather has been unpredictable here lately
ReplyDeleteNow that it is spring it should stop snowing. I am glad it is no longer winter because I was starting to hate the snow with a passion. Now I don't have to worry about having to walk through the snow to get to the bus and getting it into my shoes. So i am glad that it is finally spring and not winter.

ReplyDeletewe are going to get more time to "turn up" and we get more time to play out side and hang out with friends and go to lakes and have a good time with friends and family and its gonna be warmer and then we will be able to go swimming and fishing and outside in the woods and do outside activities. So what it means is the sun will stay up longer and the moon will rise later in the evening and we will have later football practices for longer and its getting closer to summer break and then we will be able to be free for about 2 months then we come back to school:( then later in the year it will go back and we will have one more hour of sleep.

ReplyDeleteSpring season is probably my second favorite season because its right before summer and the days feel like they are getting longer and brighter! Spring wont be as cold, so i can stay outside longer than what i used to. A random thing that relates to spring is that i feel like i clean way more and crack the windows open all the time. Track season is also starting up which is amazing but sadly i cant run for awhile and im just a little bit closer to cross country.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the vernal equinox? It is the day on which the sun is directly over the equator. Vernal equinox does not always start on March 20 but sometimes it will start on March 21.
ReplyDeleteOn the Vernal Equinox its said if you go outside at sunset you will see they rotation of the sun and moon. This will mesmerize you and you will fall down unconscious. Then some aliens will take you and you become their slave. While you make tacos and get kicked repeatedly.
ReplyDeleteVERNAL EQUINOX- The Equinox happens twice a year also representing. It happens when the Earth's equator passes the center of the Sun. We have the same amount of hours in the day but it is light outside for one half and dark outside for the second half of the day.
