9/12/2013: "The Lady or the Tiger/ Subject Verb Agreement"

Scholar start:
Go to the following link: Rules of Subject/Verb agreement. Please read.  I will review this with you in a moment. If any of the rules confuse you, please write them down in your composition book under today's scholar start heading, so you can be sure you understand. You will have less than ten minutes to read this SILENTLY on your own, so get started immediately.

Today we looked at subject/verb agreement.  We will be going back to that again tomorrow.

In CCR, we finished reading "The Lady or the Tiger?" If you go back to the Prezi, you'll see your scholar start for CCR has been added.

9/11/2013: The Lady or the Tiger

Greetings, students!
Today we returned to "The Lady or the Tiger".  1st Period made it to section 3, and 3rd period made it to section 4.  We will (hopefully) be finishing this story in class on the 12th.

In English, we reviewed the importance of following directions, and continued to work on our Narrative assignment.  We will be finishing a draft next week, so if you have fallen behind, you will need to try and catch up!
