Scholar Start 1st period:

You are going to have to go on the internet today and find 1-2 news articles.  Try and find some that you think cover IMPORTANT current events. It can cover pop culture, politics, really anything, as long as it is something you think might be IMPORTANT. I'm needing you to find things that have happened in the past 7 days.  Once you find an article, you will need to read it, and then paraphrase it in a blog post. You will also need to leave me a link so I can check the article out.  
We will be doing this for 20 minutes.  If you finish 2 articles, then feel free to read (if you still have a book) or work on something from another class.
