  42. This is an example of both situational and verbal irony. It is situational because it says you can't escape the plan yet the person died. It more of an example of verbal because the tombstone or gravestone says BORN and normally you would have a gravestone or tombstone for someone that has died not someone being born. So this is more of a verbal irony example.

I think it's situational irony because it's the opposite of what it's saying nothing is written in stone it's born , but in reverse of the dead , but in my opinion i just think it's a little of verbal cause it's saying something that's not exact same thing as what they're talking about in the topic.
