ReplyDeletethe man got convertible with the mask.
ReplyDeleteHe has become a different person and he is filling his shoes. He is changing based on the crowd of people controlling him. The author is saying that this cop is changing personalities.
ReplyDeleteI think it means that the mask grows with the person that has it

ReplyDeleteit means that the elephants facial expression is violent and dangerous.
ReplyDeleteThe meaning of that quote is that everyone thought he was brave and he was really nervous.
ReplyDeleteI think that it means that he is doing what the people want him to do and i think that is what the author was trying to say.
ReplyDeleteThe quote means he is doing something that he doesn't want to do.
ReplyDeletePeople have a sterotype for him and by shooting the elephant he will fill that sterotype.
ReplyDeletethe man that is going to shoot the elephant doesn't want to let all the people down so he will do something he would really want to do, that representing the mask.
ReplyDeleteWhen the author is saying he is wearing a mask, he is talking about how he is not doing what he think he should do. He is doing what others are telling him to do. He is basically hiding what he believes because he doesn't want people to hate him anymore than they already do.
ReplyDeletehe wants to hide from the crowd and he is very ashamed of shooting an elephant
ReplyDeletethe meaning of the quote is he is doing want he doesn't want to but there is a crowd so he thinks he needs to.
ReplyDeleteI think it means that he is faced with two choices and he has to come up with a decision on whether or not to he should the elephant and he a hero or be called a coward
ReplyDeletehe doesn't fit into what he is doing

ReplyDeleteI think the author is saying that the officer seems like himself but st the same time he is not himself.
Deletei think it means he is forced with a choice, either shoot the elephant and be called a hero,or don't shoot it and be called a coward
ReplyDeleteThe mask represented is the man's side that he doesn't want to bring out. Although,in this situation it fits perfectly, he needs to be that side of him, it's the only thing that he can do.
ReplyDeleteThe mask might fit him but he don't belong to the group to kill the elephant.
ReplyDeletethe man is faced with two options
ReplyDeleteI think that the people are making him shot the elephant.
ReplyDeleteThe man is becoming what the people think he is.
ReplyDeletehe didn't want to shoot the elephant
ReplyDeleteThe people expect him to shoot the elephant because it was once dangerous, so he feels he has to shoot the elephant whether he wants to or not.
ReplyDeleteI think he don't want to shoot the elephant, but the people want he to. So he is trying to decide to shoot it or not.
ReplyDeleteI think that the people are making him shot the elephant.

ReplyDeleteI think it means he is shy until he gets to know you.
ReplyDeletei think it means that he is forced to shoot the elephant because he dont really want to but there is a bunch of people around so he will be the hero
ReplyDeletehe was turning into someone he didnt like
ReplyDeleteHe's doing something he doesn't want to do.
ReplyDeletehe don't know whether or not to shoot the elephant the people want him to because the elephant was dangerous and the people are making him seem like he has to shoot it so the people don't get angry at him
ReplyDeleteThat he has 2 sides of his thoughts about the elephant.
ReplyDeletehe don't know whether or not to shoot the elephant the people want him to because the elephant was dangerous and the people are making him seem like he has to shoot it so the people don't get angry at him
ReplyDeleteHe is being peer pressured to shoot the elphant
ReplyDeleteI think the author is trying to say that: The people think the police officer will try to safe the elephant.
ReplyDelete1.I think that the author made the right choice because he didn't want anyone else to
ReplyDeleteget stomped on.
In a way yes and in a way no. The reason I say yes is because the people were starting to feel threatened by the elephant because he was starting to hurt the people. The reason I say no is because he was peer pressured into shooting the elephant!
ReplyDeletemaybe he should have seen if it was crazy or not no his actions was not moraly right
ReplyDeleteI think it's specifically saying that the man is hiding his true feelings about what really the decision he wants to make about shooting the elephant our not if he does he will be called a true hero & if he doesn't he will be called a coward he is worried about what other people will think
