ReplyDeleteTo me this says that when a person pretends to be a character that they're not , they tend to become that person.
ReplyDeletei don't think the person made the right choice because he had to shoot him when he new it wasn't the right thing to do
ReplyDeleteYes. i think the narrator made the right choice when he shot the elephant. i believe this because if he didn't shoot the elephant, he would be killed by the mob. So yes, i believe that his choice follows moral concepts.
ReplyDeleteYes, the narrator made the right choice. He did what had to be done. Like he said if a owner fails to control a rabid dog it has to be put down. It's basically the same thing, but with a elephant.
ReplyDeleteyes bcuz it didnt heart anyone n the elephant was a was a danger but id think he was morally correct since he jus did it so he wouldnt be made a fool
ReplyDeletefirst you need to spell these words with proper grammar not text type grammar
Deleteyes because the owner did not keep the animal calm.
ReplyDelete1) i think that the author made the right choices. 2) yes.
ReplyDeleteno, because he only killed the elephant because he didn't want people to think bad of him and judge him cause everyone wanted the elephant killed. i don't think he was correct and i think he did it because of the pressure on him
ReplyDeleteNo because the elephant did no harm to him he shot it because he had a angry crowd of people behind him. No i don't think his actions are right because he did it so he wouldn't die
ReplyDeletebut the elephant was dangerous an even thou it wasnt causing harm it was earlier
DeleteBut not to him himself.
Deleteyes the author made the right choice but I think he was morally right to because the elephant had already killed several people and would have probably killed more people if he hadn't shot the elephant.
ReplyDelete1. Yes because the elephant was crazy and killed people and took down houses
ReplyDelete2.yes because he was looking out for himself
I think the narrator didn't do the right thing because the elephant wasn't doing anything but eating and brushing off his knees.I think his actions were not morally right because he had a choice and made a different choice
ReplyDeleteI think he made the right choice because he didn't have any other choice because the burmese would have killed him and get mad.
ReplyDeleteI think his actions wasn't correct because he made the elephant suffer.
yes. i believe he did the right thing he chose the elephants life over his i believe anyone would have done the same.
ReplyDeleteYes, because the elephant was going crazy and was taring down anything in his was. If he didn't kill it than you never know what it would do next.
ReplyDeleteYes, because what if he didn't kill it, everyone will think is looks like a fool because he is a cop and should be brave. So if he didn't he would look like a fool.
1. yes because if he did not kill the elephant everyone would be mad and might kill him.
ReplyDelete2. no because he did not need to kill it because it was not going crazy.
I do not think it was the right choice to kill the elephant because the elephant wasn't harming anybody at that moment, but he only shot the elephant because he was worried about what people would think if he didnt shoot the elephant. His actions werent morally correct because he harmed the elephant only because he was worried about people making fun of him if he didnt shoot it.
ReplyDeleteI think the author made the wrong choice, I know that there was a lot of weight on his shoulders, but he could of explained the factors of why he shouldn't, the elephant was fine. He did harm all those people, but it's just an elephant, so let him be. Shooting was the wrong answer. His actions are not bad though, he did it for his career, he didn't want to be a fool. He, morally, was fine.
ReplyDeleteyes i think the man made the right choice by killing the elephant. morally i think he was not correct because he didn't want to kill the elephant. he killed the elephant because of peer pressure.
ReplyDeletei agree with you because what it the author didnt kill the elephant and the elephant went back into its musk?
DeleteIn a way I think yes because the elephant could have thrown another tantrum and could have caused more damage, but then I think no because he was trying not to look like a fool in a way he did something he didn't want to do.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the author made the right choice because he didn't want to shoot the elephant. The author's actions were not morally correct because he knew that the elephant was calm now and that it was wrong to kill it when the owner wasnt there.
ReplyDelete1) I think that he did make the right choice because the elephant did go on a rampage and kill a lot of people and if an animal did that it would be put down. He did the best thing for the little town he was in.
ReplyDelete2) He was and wasn't at the same time, he was right with killing the elephant and he was wrong with letting him suffer. If he knew he was a bad shot and it wasn't going to die he should of gave it to a burman who could shoot it more accurate.
i don't think he made the right choice because the elephant was calm and he new he didn't do the right thing.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he made the right choice because he wasn't the one who was as affected by the elephant and he knew he didn't want to shoot the elephant, he could have just walked away
ReplyDeleteYes i think he did the right thing because the elephant could of killed more peolpe after he was gone.
ReplyDelete1 Yes instead of being laughed at he went ahead and shot the large animal and put the end of the crazed animal.
ReplyDelete2 No if he didn't know how to aim right he should have left the animal alone in stead of wasting ammo.
true true ammo counts

ReplyDelete-I do think that the author made the right choice because the elephant killed the guy, so the police officer was defending him and the people around him.
ReplyDelete-No because he did not want to kill the elephant he wanted to safe the elephant, but he was thinking to make everyone else happy.
1.I think that the author made the right choice because if he didn't kill the elephant then the elephant would probably kill more people.
ReplyDelete2.I don't think he should have killed the elephant just because he was scared of being embarrassed.
Legally, he did the right thing but I think that it was wrong for he did it just to please a crowd.
ReplyDelete1. I think that the author made the rite choice because if he did not kill the elephant than the elephant could have possibly kill more people
ReplyDeleteIf it was mad then yes but if not than no because you should not kill something to avoid looking like a fool.
ReplyDeleteI think the author made the right decision because if the elephant went into the stage of musk again, that it could kill the people. Also, I think the author made the wrong decision because he could have stood up for himself and the elephant by telling the Burmese that he wasn't going to kill the elephant.
ReplyDeleteI strongly agree with you!! (:
DeleteI do not think that the author did was not right for what he did. he should of let the elephant live. If it went trough the stage tan yes he should shoot it.
ReplyDeleteyes i think what the author did was the right thing to do because if he did not shoot the elephant then there would have been a lot more people dead then just one
ReplyDeleteYes but then again no. I think what the author did was right because if he didn't kill the elephant the the elephant would have killed more people. Also no because he shouldn't have just killed him just because he was scared to be embarrassed in front of the people for not shooting the elephant.
ReplyDeleteyes i agree with you because if he did not kill the elephant then more people would be killed
Deletei think he was pressured and was almost completely forced by the pressuring of the people in the town, i think he did the right thing at the time and what he did the elephant deserved and earned what he got by what he did to the town and the people. so yes, yes he did.
ReplyDeleteI think that the author was wrong to do what he did. I think this because every elephant will go through what this one did. Also, if they killed every elephant that went mad like this then they wouldn't have something to work/pull machinery. Therefore I think the author was wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think that he made the wrong choice, because he did not do it for his self he did it for the people. He did not do what he wanted to do, he let other people make a choice o him.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think the author was right for killing the elephant because he was mad but I think he should have checked to see if it was out of musk. If the elephant wasn't he should've shot it the way he did but I don't think he should've let thought of getting embarrassed effect his decision.
ReplyDeleteNo because it was wrong to make an elephant surfer the way that he did just to please the crowed
ReplyDeletei disagree because it kill someone and by law it haves to be killed and it racked a village
DeleteYes because it killed people, but if thought he should not have killed him then he shouldn't but if he did it because he was thinking that he will get made fun of he should not have killed it. If he thought about the peoples safety then it is a good reason to do what he did.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it was the right decision to do the reason why is cause the elephant did not go on a rampage and stayed calm. The elephant also had to suffer in pain cause of the actions the man did cause he was scared with the fear of the burmese making fun of him and calling him a coward.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you because the elephant was calm and he shot the elephant making it suffer in pain and theirs no reason to make an elephant suffer the way he did.
